Starobeshevskiy district, Nov 1 - DAN. The Republican Fuel Company and Dontoplivo state-owned enterprises reduced petrol and diesel fuel prices at their petrol stations across the Republic starting November 1, Donetsk People’s Republic acting Head Denis Pushilin told reporters on Thursday.
“You can see new prices at the petrol stations run by the Republican Fuel Company and Dontoplivo which are approximately the same as prices in the neighbouring Rostov region,” Pushilin said.
A-95 petrol sells at 45 rubles per litre whereas on Wednesday, it cost over 50 rubles, he said.
The DPR leader underscored that all petrol stations in the Republic were expected to cut prices in the near future. Foodstuff prices would stabilise too, due to the decreases in the prices of fuel and lubricants.
On October 30, DPR acting Tax and Revenue Minister Yevgeniy Lavrenov said that fuel and lubricants prices would change by the end of November.
On October 19, the DPR People’s Council approved Pushilin’s amendments to Article 84 of the DPR Law on the Tax System which reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel fuel from 150 to 50 dollars per ton.*jk
