Donetsk, Sep 10 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic departments and services have to be prepared for any situation as Ukrainian aggression is mounting, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said.

“The Donbass situation remains tense,” Pushilin said. “Ukraine continues to ignore the peace process of conflict settlement. Furthermore, it stepped up permanent fire provocations along the whole contact line. This requires us to mobilize all forces, services and departments for helping the civilian population and eliminating the aftermath of Ukrainian strikes.”

The DPR leader said that the inspections of the preparedness of civil defense administrations and forces for disaster relief operations have been carried out under his control since early September.

“These inspections are aimed at maintaining constant readiness of forces and equipment to resolve possible crises in the Republic,” the DPR leader said. Field-specific specialists have to be ready for any situation, while their superiors and commanders bear full responsibility for successful performance of their duties, “ he said.

Two civilians have been wounded in the DPR in shelling by Kiev forces over the past three days. Enemy strikes also damaged service lines and facilities at the Chelyuskintsev and Zasyadko colliers and the Dokuchayevsk flux and dolomite plant, as well as gas pies and transmission lines. Ukrainian armed formation use heavy artillery and mortars to deliver fire.*jk
