Donetsk, Feb 18 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin has criticized reports by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission saying they have lost their information value. He made the statement as he was visiting People’s Militia positions on the contact line on Thursday.
“We have big questions regarding OSCE SMM reports; their form was charged and now it’s practically impossible to understand which party is guilty of violations,” the DPR leader’s official website quoted him as saying. “The Monitoring Mission’s reports have lost their information value which causes extra concerns on our part.”
He underlined that People’s Militia units “are combat ready, prepared for any events,” given the increase in strikes on the contact line.
During the peace talks on Wednesday, Donetsk People’s Republic representative to the Contact Group negotiations Natalia Nikonorova called upon OSCE Special Monitoring Mission representatives to create new mechanisms for verifying Donbass conflict victims.*jk
