Donetsk, Sep 2 – DAN. Ukrainian authorities have opposed themselves to a civilized world by perpetrating a terror attack in the center of Donetsk killing DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, a signee of the Minsk Agreements on peaceful resolution to the Donbass conflict, said DPR envoy to the negotiations Denis Pushilin.
"What Ukraine did is beyond sanity. These steps cannot be described as attempts to settle the conflict, it is impossible to say that Ukraine has something human left. By Ukraine I mean its authorities. Ukraine which keeps destroying Donbass people for several years. We can not accept it, we shall not accept it and we shall keep fighting by all means," Pushilin said speaking at Alexander Zakharchenko memorial service.
He said that the assassination of the Head is a "dreadful tragedy" for Donbass as the region lost its leader and the person "who was followed, who led people".
"Another aggression from Ukraine, that is the only way it can be described. It all, of course, related to the current geopolitical agenda, which is unfortunately aggressive towards everything civilized."
Alexander Zakharchenko was fatally wounded in an explosion in a restaurant in the center of Donetsk on August 31, 2018.
Dmitriy Trapeznikov, deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, has been appointed acting DPR Head in accordance with the DPR Constitution, Article 62. *ot
