Donetsk, Jun 22 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin said that the DPR would implement appropriate retaliatory measures in response to the Ukrainian army strike which killed four DPR militiamen and wounded another five on Monday.

DPR People’s Militia earlier reports said that three DPR militiaman were killed and one was wounded in mortar shelling outside Donetsk on Monday morning. The ambulance that was sent to evacuate them came under fire as well, which left one person dead and another four wounded.

“I underline, we mustn't and won’t let Ukraine get away with its dirty tricks and intend to implement relevant retaliatory moves,” he noted on Monday.

Pushilin also ordered "a probe to find out why the DPR militia had not returned fire as stipulated by the Minsk Agreements. It is this body that is responsible for defending our civilians and servicemen, as well as for responding to escalation by the enemy. The measures to strengthen the ceasefire do not prohibit opening return fire,” the DPR Head said.*jk
