Donetsk, Nov 11 – DAN. DPR Interim Head Denis Pushilin has cast his ballot at the Head and Parliamentary elections in Donetsk today, DAN correspondent says.

Pushilin, accompanied by his spouse Irina, arrived at the polling station No. 156 based on the premises of school No. 64 in the frontline Kuibysheva district of Donetsk.

He greeted the members of the precinct polling station and other voters, produced his ID, received a ballot, and cast it in a ballot box, his wife doing the same.

Today DPR residents are able to cast ballots at 408 polling stations across the Republic from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., all of the addresses are available at the Central Election commission website.

Five candidates are running for Head: Denis Pushilin, Elena Shishkina, Roman Khramenkov, Vladimir Medvedev, Roman Evstifeyev. Two social movements are vying for Parliament seats: the Donetsk Republic and the Free Donbass.

International observers have been invited to monitor the elections, 48 of them, nationals of Russia, Abkhazia, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, Finland, France, Chili and South Ossetia, have registered as monitors. *ot

Early elections took place from November 6 to November 10. All those who are unable to cast ballots today have had an opportunity to do so over the week, as DPR service members have done, among others. *ot
