Donetsk, Nov 2 – DAN. DPR authorities should assist local leaders in settling existing problems in frontline areas, said the head of Alexandrovka administration Konstantin Chalyi.
"Elections of head and deputies of the People's Council are the major ballot casting. We must show the world that we are living in a democratic country. As the administration head in a frontline area I await the new authorities to assist us in dealing with current problems," he said.
Chalyi added that one of the issues is transporting residents of Alexandrovka back home in the evening, after they finish work in Donetsk. Social guarantees should be raised for vulnerable social groups and discharged military and their families.
Earlier DPR Interim Head Denis Pushilin said that a mechanism of allocating military pensions should be developed.
The Head and Parliamentary elections are to take place in Donbass on November 11. Residents will be able to cast ballots at 408 polling stations, all of the addresses are available at the Central Election commission website.
Five candidates are running for Head: Denis Pushilin, Elena Shishkina, Roman Khramenkov, Vladimir Medvedev, Roman Evstifeyev. Two social movements are running for Parliament: the Donetsk Republic and the Free Donbass.*ot
