Donetsk, Jul 26 - DAN. The final decisions on the possibility to establish a new state comprising Donbass and Ukrainian regions have not been made yet, DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko said on Wednesday.

“The final decisions have not been made yet, but the most important thing is that the discussion will continue,” Zakharchenko said in a statement.

“We have not established a new state; we suggested a discussion and brought forward our proposal,” he said. “Over a week, we received a huge number of responses, recommendations and proposals from concerned people from all over Ukraine.”

Zakharchenko said the idea to create a new state had received a mixed response. For example, opinions differ as to the location of the capital, the state symbols, and the composition, format and venue of the legitimate founding assembly involving representatives of Ukrainian regions.

Earlier, an initiative was unveiled in Donetsk to establish a new state comprising areas of Donbass and Ukrainian regions.*jk
