Every 10th DPR resident is member of Donetsk Republic social movement

Donetsk, Oct 15 – DAN. The DPR major social movement Donetsk Republic has gathered 204,000 activists, the organization said.

"The number of our members is 204,096. New people have been joining during the month, and it makes us happy. Together only we can make the Republic a flourishing state."

As of October 2, the State Statistics reported that the DPR population reached 2.2 mln people, making every 10th resident a Donetsk Republic member.

The Donetsk Republic movement was established in winter 2014 to participate in political, social and cultural life of the DPR. It is represented in the DPR People's Council by the most numerous fraction of 64 deputies out of 100. The movement has registered its list of candidates for the upcoming parliamentary election. *ot
