Donetsk, Jul 11 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic has set up all its territorial and district election commissions, regional Election Commission chairman Vladimir Vysotsky said on Tuesday.

“There are 36 territorial and 615 district election commissions, ” Vysotsky told the Donetsk News Agency. “After taking a training course, election staff will take tests in their areas of expertise.”

Parties can appoint their representatives with a consultative vote to the Republic’s Election Commission after the registration of the list of candidates. Russia’s Central Election Commission said that the registration of candidates for the September elections in the new regions would begin on July 24.

On September 10 which is Single Voting Day in Russia, the DPR will hold elections to the People’s Council (parliament) and municipal bodies. The voting can last for several days in connection with the frontline situation in the Republic.*jk
