Donetsk, May 18 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin has signed a law on a 2.7-billion ruble increase in budget revenue.

A total of 2,700,452.7 rubles would be used to support the coal industry and pay remuneration and back wages; this sum includes the payments of income tax, insurance fees and deductions that also apply to the employees assigned to cargo handling at defense facilities, according to the document published on the DPR leader’s official website.

The Republic’s Budget 2023 revenue totals 226,171,914 rubles and expenditure 231,631,033 rubles. The upper government debt limit for January 1, 2024 is set at 0 rubles.

On Monday, DPR Prime Minister Yevgeny Solntsev said that the Cabinet would initiate amendments to increase the revenue part of the budget. 

The law, approved by the parliament and signed by the DPR acting head on Wednesday has come into force.*jk
