Donetsk, Dec 20 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic will continue the phased increase in wages, pensions and allowances in the next few years, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said in an annual address to the Republic’s parliament on Friday.
Earlier, Pushilin announced a 26-percent increase in public sector wages and a 20-percent increase in pensions.
“The phased increase will continue. We have to raise our incomes to the level of neighbouring Russian regions within the next few years,” he said.
The latest income increase is the fifth’s in DPR history.*jk
