Donetsk, Dec 10 - DAN. Donetsk welcomes the “Normandy Four” decision to contribute to prisoner exchange between the Donbass Republics and Ukraine, Donetsk People’s Republic ombudswoman Darya Morozova told reporters on Tuesday.
“We welcome these accords, because the DPR has been insisting on it for two years, so two years on, we can say that we have the opportunity to carry out an exchange by yearend; everything now depends on Ukraine,” Morozova said.
The Republic is ready for this process, she added.
On Monday, Paris hosted a summit of the leaders of the “Normandy Four” states (Germany, Russia, France, Ukraine). Following seven-hour talks, the parties' outcome document stated the decision to carry out a prisoner exchange in Donbass under the “all verified for all verified” principle by yearend.*jk
