Donetsk, Jul 21 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic leader Denis Pushilin and head of the Kharkov region civil-military administration Vitaly Ganchev have signed a joint communique following their meeting in Donetsk on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Pushilin administration chief of staff Alexey Nikonorov, his first deputy Gennady Lebed and first deputy head, chief of staff of the Kharkov region civil-military administration Svetlana Nadyon.
“We have close ties with the Kharkov region. Now it is the time to restore historical justice. Reunification of the Russian people is underway; this is how the ongoing process must be assessed, ” Pushilin said. “We’ve concluded the first agreement today. I’m sure that Kharkov will be liberated soon; we’re ready to provide our support. We have much work to do; with joint efforts we’re going to make it.”
Ganchev thanked Pushilin for the support.
“I’m glad to be here; we have common history with the whole Russian world. I want to say the words of gratitude. It’s time to return home; our lands are a single whole, the people who rose against the Kiev junta in 2014 will not turn back now. We only have one way, towards victory and well-being. I hope for long and fruitful cooperation, ” he said.
At the end of the meeting, Pushilin and Ganchev signed the document, exchanged souvenirs and thanked each other for cooperation.*jk
