Simferopol, Jan 17 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin is on a visit to Crimea, the press service of the head of state reported on Thursday.
“Pushilin will take part in the events marking Crimea Day and the 365th anniversary of the Treaty of Pereyaslav,” the press service said.
He also plans to meet with Crimea State Council chairman Vladimir Konstantinov and Crimea parliament leaders.
“A number of important issues are expected to be settled during the visit to open a new chapter in relations between the Republic of Crimea and the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics,” the press service said.
A delegation of lawmakers led by DPR parliament speaker Vladimir Bidyovka is also on a visit to Simferopol.
It is Pushilin's first visit to Crimea in the capacity of DPR Head. He had travelled to Crimea before as DPR People’s Council chairman and DPR envoy to the Minsk talks.*jk
