Donetsk, Dec 13 – DAN. DPR Head Denis Pushilin said that Kiev must harmonize the amendments to constitution with DPR and LPR.
Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky said earlier on Friday that a package of draw laws is being developed to decentralize the country. He said that Ukraine fulfills the Minsk Agreements and the decentralization is in line with the accords despite the fact that the Normandy Four summit confirmed commitment to introduce the Donbass special status permanently.
"In connection with the Constitution amendment draft bill introduced to the Ukrainian parliament by the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky we remind: Donbass special status must be incorporated in to the Constitution and Kiev must harmonize all the amendments concerning the Donbass special status with the DPR and LPR. The Minsk Agreements and the summary of the Normandy Four Summit in Paris stipulate it. The amendments have to be discussed at the nearest meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on December 18. If Kiev avoids coordination of the amendments with us, it shall be a blunt and direct violation of the Minsk Agreements. We do not recognize a unilateral "decentralization", Pushilin said. *ot
