Donetsk, Sep 17 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Central Election Commission on Monday adopted four resolutions on the election procedure in the Republic. The session was held in the CEC building.

The CEC passed the resolutions on the nomination and registration of candidates and candidate lists in the DPR’s early Head of Republic and parliamentary elections, the registration of authorised representatives of the candidates for the post of DPR Head, the registration of authorised representatives and agents of the candidates for the People’s Council, and the procedure for collection and verification of signatures in support of candidates for DPR Head and the People’s Council.

The CEC unanimously approved all the resolutions.

Earlier reports said that the nomination of candidates for the post of DPR Head and list candidates for parliament would be held, respectively, on September 21-25 and September 21-29. Signature collection can start on the next day after the nomination while campaigning can kick off from the date of candidate or candidate list registration.

On September 7, the DPR parliament set November 11 as the date of the parliamentary and Head of Republic election, and appointed the Central Election Commission.*jk
