Donetsk, Oct 12 – DAN. Legitimacy, transparency and democratic standards are the top priority for the DPR Central Election Commission as the Head and parliamentary elections are approaching, said the commission's chairwoman Olga Pozdnyakova.
"The main objective is to provide legitimacy and transparency of the Head and parliamentary elections. We have adopted a number of regulations to that end concerning the procedures at every stage."
The Commission has taken into account all modern democratic election standards so that every voter can cast his ballot in support of his candidate.
"To ensure the realization of the right to vote is our top priority. We shall not allow any fabrication and manipulation."
Pozdnyakova said all the documents the commission received from candidates have undergone a thorough check with the assistance of experts and data from ministries and agencies.
"It is extremely important to us to ensure compliance with law at every stage," she said.
The Head and parliamentary elections are scheduled in the DPR for November 11. *ot
