Donetsk, Aug 4 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic parliamentarians have adopted a law cutting the 6 percent agricultural tax rate to zero, DPR parliament speaker Vladimir Bidyovka said on Friday.
“We hope that the measure will help agribusinesses to invest more money in development and stabilize the situation in the agricultural sector, ” Bidyovka said.
DPR farmers have been beset with difficulties in the recent years, so the government, together with the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry have long been working on incentives to encourage them to replenish their operating capital and stabilize production, he added.*jk
