Donetsk, Sep 28 — DAN. The DPR Central Election Commission handed over to the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin the final protocols with the results of the Referendum on joining Russia, DAN correspondent says.
During the event, CEC Chairman Vladimir Vysotsky handed over to the Head of the DPR a protocol with the final voting results.
“The document is in hand, the protocol is in hand, now a direct route to Moscow (opens up), ” Pushilin said. “The result speaks for itself: a more than convincing aspiration to join Russia.”
He thanked the citizens and all participants of the Referendum for their activity and responsibility during the voting.
The reunification of the DPR with the Russian Federation was supported by 99.23% of the referendum participants. The turnout was 97.51%. *ot
