Acting Lugansk People’s Republic head makes first visit to Donetsk People’s Republic

Donetsk, Jan 31 - DAN. Acting LPR head Leonid Pasechnik has made his first official visit to DPR, the DPR leader’s administration press service reported on Wednesday.

“On 31 January, acting head of the Lugansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik made his first official visit to DPR,” the press service said.

The LPR delegation included LPR Council of Ministers Chairman Sergey Kozlov and his first deputy Oleg Chernousov.

Pasechnik had a meeting with DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko, the report said.

Leonid Pasechnik took office as acting head of the Lugansk People’s Republic on 24 November 2017 after his predecessor Igor Plotnitskiy resigned for heath reasons. Previously, Pasechnik headed LPR State Security Ministry. *jk
