Donetsk, May 10 - DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 36 times on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes over the past 24 hours expending 295 rounds of ammunition, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
On the Donetsk axis, fire was delivered at the Petrovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Leninsky and Kirovsky districts of the DPR capital, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, Lozovoye, Berezovoye, Dolya, Staromikhailovka and Luganskoye. On the Gorlovka axis, the settlements of Shakhta Gagarina, Shakhta 6/7, Shakhta Izotova, Shakhta Glubokaya, Shakhta Lenina, Dolomitnoye and Zheleznaya Balka came under fire. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, 122mm and 152mm artillery, 120mm and 82mm mortars and large calibre machine guns.
Two civilians were killed and another nine were wounded in the strikes. Forty-eight houses and eight civil infrastructure facilities were damaged.
The JCCC morning report does not include the information on strikes or damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where clashes against Ukrainian armed formations are ongoing. *jk
