Donetsk, Apr 13 – DAN. The DPR Prosecutor General's office has opened criminal proceedings against Ukrainian armed forces brigades' commanders responsible for Donetsk April 11 shelling which left seven civilians injured, the press service of the Prosecutor General's office reported.

"Investigative department of the Prosecutor General's office has opened a criminal case in accordance with the Article 229, p.2, s. A, B of the DPR Criminal Code (terror attack) against the commander of the 55th separate artillery brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces Brusov S.E. and the commander of the 25th separate Dnepropetrovsk airborne brigade Zenchenko O.V."

The abovementioned suspects are believed to have been in command in the morning April 11, when Kiev forces opened intense fire on western and norther Donetsk, dramatically deteriorating the security situation despite the ceasefire announced in Donbass. Seven civilians have been injured, and the number of shelling incidents keeps growing. *ot
