Donetsk, Aug 23 – DAN. The DPR Prosecutor General's office has launched a criminal investigation against the commander of the Ukrainian separate special task battalion 'Donbass-Ukraina' Vyacheslav Vlasenko, who was in charge of the August 20 shelling of Donetsk outskirts killing a member of DPR Emergencies Ministry, said the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General's office.
"Investigation Department of the Office has launched a criminal investigation under Article 229 p.3 s. b of the DPR Criminal Law (terror act) against the the commander of the Ukrainian separate special task battalion 'Donbass-Ukraina' Vyacheslav Vlasenko."
On August 20 Vlasenko, with intent to commit an act of terror, ordered the servicemen under his command to open fire on Petrovskiy district of Donetsk. As the result, an Emergencies Ministry staff member had been killed, two other rescuers injured while on duty, battling fires. *ot
