Donetsk, Feb 1 - DAN. The homemade explosive device found in the building of Donetsk’s Kiev district administration on Tuesday included four TNT blocks and shrapnel, the Donetsk People’s Republic State Security Ministry (MGB) reported.
“A check of the building found a bomb. The explosive device comprising four 400-gram TNT blocks, four electrical fuses and shrapnel had to be set off by a call to a mobile phone,” the report said.
An anonymous report about a planted bomb was sent by email. Police and emergency services quickly evacuated the personnel from the building.
The DPR Interior Ministry said that the bomb had been found on the third floor of a district administration building and that it was rendered harmless on the spot with special equipment.
Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin posted information about the incident at 13:38. The explosive device was reportedly defused at 15:14. *jk
