Donetsk, Nov 24 — DAN. A cache of weapons and ammunition has been found in the Yalta settlement in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Head Denis Pushilin said in a post on his Telegram channel on Friday.
“The Federal Security Service Department for the DPR jointly with the Eastern Military District’s counterintelligence bodies found a weapon cache disguised as a gas cylinder in the Yalta settlement (Mangush district), ” Pushilin said. “The plan was to deliver it to Russian regions to carry out acts of sabotage and terror.”
The cache contained two grenade launchers and two hand grenades with fuses, he said.
Reports on Wednesday said that FSB officers and Russia’s National Guard servicemen had found a weapon cache outside Donetsk containing foreign grenade launchers.*jk
