Donetsk, Dec 4 — DAN. Ukrainian artillery attacks on Gorlovka have caused power outages at several neighborhoods since Monday morning, said town mayor Ivan Prikhodko.
“The affected areas are Shakhta Izotova, Shakhta 6/7 and the neighborhoods next to two enterprises in the Nikitovsky district, ” Prikhodko said. The Donetsk People’s Republic Coal and Energy Ministry said that 41 electrical substations had lost power leaving 5,500 customers without electricity.
Ukrainian artillery fire also damaged a dentist’s, an office building, a house with summer kitchen, a garage and two cars in the Nikitovsky district. An 18-year-old boy was wounded in the overnight shelling of the town.
Gorlovka has come under Kiev 155mm long-range artillery strikes three times on Monday.*jk
