Donetsk, Jan 13 – DAN. DPR Ministry of State Security (MGB) has shut down firearms supply chain from Ukraine into DPR.
"DPR MGB has curbed the activity of a network trafficking arms into DPR from Ukraine. A group of people were arrested in course of investigation."
Law enforcement officers found an arms cache at the scene, with RPG-22, RPG-18, RPG-26, RPG-7, recoilless anti-tank gun SPG-9, grenades, machine guns, assault rifles, guns and ammunition.
MGB said the traffickers purchased arms in the so-called ATO zone in Kiev-controlled territory, smuggled them into DPR to sell or to sneak back to Ukraine.
