Donetsk, Nov 21 — DAN. Power outages caused by Ukrainian artillery attacks have left some 50,000 customers in Donetsk without electricity, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on Monday.
City mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that a 220 kW transformer substation had been switched off which de-energized substations of 110 kW and 35 kW. Large residential areas in the Voroshilovsky, Leninsky, Kirovsky, Kievsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of the DPR capital have no power supply at present.
Repairs will begin as soon as the situation allows.*jk
