Donetsk, May 24 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office opened criminal cases against a senior Ukrainian army commander complicit in the shelling of Donetsk, on June 19, the PGO press service said.
“The PGO is investigating 20 episodes of a criminal case against the commander of the 24th brigade Valery Gudz who ordered the shelling of the Petrovskiy district of Donetsk with mortars and small arms,” the report said.
As a result of the shelling, ten houses, six apartments, Chelyuskintsev mine, the laundry of the Children’s Hospital No 4, the Petrovskiy sport center and am access railway line sustained damage.
Criminal case is opened under Art.229 s.2, p. a, c (Terrorist Attack).*ot
