Donetsk, Jun 26 – DAN. The employees of the 2nd department of the 5th directorate for counterintelligence of the Ukrainian security service Sergey Motorin and Andrei Baidala have been identified as accessory to the murder of the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko, the DPR Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.
“DPR law enforcement is aware of Ukrainian special tasks units and their staff who are involved in terror attacks against Donbass. In particular, this is the 5th directorate of the counterintelligence department of the Ukrainian security service that was established with the CIA active participation. We know every member of the department who are involved in crimes in Donbass. I can name Sergey Motorin, native of Donbass, who is currently an assistant of the 5th directorate chief. The blood of Zakharchenko and Arsen Pavlov is on his hands.”
Another accessory was identified as Andrei ‘Shved (Swede)’ Baidala who ordered murders in Donbass. Other accomplices are the head of the 5th directorate Roman Chervinsky, his deputies Maksim Popov and Alexander Poklad. Their work is curated by Alexey Petrov who has recently been promoted from the directorate head to deputy of the Ukrainian security service chief.
DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko won the DPR Head election on November 2, 2014. Major General, he was injured several times during the war, and was awarded the Golden Star of the Republic’s Hero and other awards. Died in an explosion in central Donetsk on August 31, 2018.
Arseniy Pavlov, a DPR war hero best known in Donbass under his code name Motorola, was killed on October 16th in the blast of an explosive device planted in the hallway of the block of flats in central Donetsk where he lived. *ot
