Donetsk, Apr 25 – DAN. DPR courts of general jurisdiction have accepted over 20,000 cases this year, the Republic’s Supreme Court deputy chairperson Lilia Reznikova said at a news conference at the Donetsk News Agency.
“As of April 1, DPR courts of general jurisdiction have 20,227 cases in docket."
"As many as 12,327 cases and case files have been reviewed, or 60 percent of all accepted cases.”
The Supreme Court has also reviewed 456 civil cases on appeal.
DPR established courts of general jurisdiction and arbitrary court on 22 October 2014. The first 44 judges were appointed by DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko’s decrees No 2 and 3 dated 9 January 2015. *ot
