Donetsk, Aug 2 — DAN. Russia’s “Promsvyazbank” has begun to accept payments in the Donetsk People’s Republic for utility services and mobile communication, the Bank’s press service reported on Tuesday.

“On August 2, 2022, PCB clients in the Donetsk People’s Republic can pay for utility services, mobile communication and services of all other suppliers using a mobile bank, internet bank or bank offices across the Republic as part of comprehensive banking for DPR population and business, ” the press service said.

Payments can be made online, through a mobile application or at PCB offices, it added.

“Payments to suppliers are made in rubles, ” the press service said adding that no fees are charged for utility bill and social payments. “To use a convenient service, open a card, deposit or account at the PCB or use its other products.”

Promsvyazbank was established in 1995. Its head office is located in Moscow. It is in the top ten of Russian banks by the size of assets. It is also a strategic loan organization and a base bank for defense orders operations since 2019. In the beginning of June, the Bank obtained a permit to operate in the DPR.*jk
