Mariupol, May 31 — DAN. A Russian PM3 bulk carrier of the type Slavutich has sailed from the port of Mariupol on Tuesday, the first vessel dispatched from the port after its liberation from Ukrainian invaders.
A crane boat loaded rolled steel on the vessel several days ago.
Mariupol’s trade port was fully freed from Ukrainian gunmen on April 13; the demining works were completed on May 25. On May 29, a cargo loading operation began on the Russian bulk carrier of the type Slavutich, the first vessel that entered the port after its liberation. Donetsk People’s Republic leader Denis Pushilin said that the DPR would use the port for quick delivery of construction materials for the rebuilding of the Republic.*jk
