Donetsk, Feb 9 — DAN. The Russian Ministry of Energy has developed a concept to reform the Donbass coal industry, Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin said on Thursday.
“The Ministry is preparing a reform concept aimed at attracting investors and raising profitability, ” Pushilin said after a meeting with Russian Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov.
The meeting addressed the prospects for developing the Republic’s fuel and energy sector and DPR rebuilding plans for the next three years. Pushilin praised the work pace and professionalism of the specialists engaged in rebuilding the region.
“Repairs have been completed on 17 electrical substations and 29 high-voltage power lines; some 14,000 customers have been connected to gas supply networks, ” he said.*jk
