DPR, Aug 2 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic plans to boost grain deliveries to other Russian regions, DPR Acting Head, Secretary of the “United Russia” party’s Donetsk branch Denis Pushilin said on Wednesday.
“First of all, we have to guarantee food security, ” Pushilin said at the regional branch’s first conference as he was speaking about its objectives. “Full provision of basic foodstuffs to DPR residents is a feasible task but we’re setting more ambitious tasks such as larger supplies of grain to other Russian region.”
He said that the DPR has fully met its grain demand, increased the cattle stock by nearly 2.5 times and doubled the dairy products output.*jk
