Donetsk, Feb 2 – DAN. DPR coal-mining companies produced more than 900,000 tons of coal in January, the press service of DPR Coal and Energy Ministry reported on Thursday.
“In January 2017, DPR coal-mining enterprises of all forms of ownership produced 917,488 tons of coal, including 461,000 tons contributed by state-owned companies,” the Ministry said.
Shakhtoupravleniye Donbass and Torezantratsit accounted for the largest share of output, 126,300 tons and 125,544 tons, respectively, followed by Makeyevugol (73,685 tons), Donetsk Coal Energy Company (68,100 tons) and Shakhterskantratsit (68,000 tons).
In 2016, DPR coal-mining industry produced 12,005,154 tons of coal. *jk
