Donetsk, Dec 27 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic will auction off the right to develop the chalk deposit at the Balka Khmelevaya site, the Federal Agency for Natural Resources told the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.
“The auction will be held on an electronic trading platform on December 28, ” the Agency said.
It is going to be a pilot auction to probe businesses’ preparedness to mine natural resources in the Republic, DPR Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Yezhov said.
In April, the Donetsk News agency reported that the Federal Agency for Mineral Resources was considering the possibility to issue licenses for new subsoil areas through auctions.*jk
