Donetsk, Apr 5 – DAN. Donetsk water treatment plant (DFS) resumed operation after a week-long standstill caused by power outage, said DPR state company Donbass Water press service.
"Today at 12.30 p.m. DFS was put back into operation," the company said.
Drinking water will be pumped into Donetsk, Yasinovataya and neighboring townships' reservoirs, Kiev-occupied Avdeyevka after maintenance works are finished.
On February 29 DFS suffered outage as a result of Ukrainian shelling. Power transmission was damaged and a power substation were damaged. The day before, after repair works were finished the power was back on. *ot
