Donetsk, Sep 29 — DAN. Russia’s Chuvash Republic will help the Donetsk and Torez Electrotechnical Plants to launch the production of electrical substations, DPR First Deputy Minister of Industry an Trade Yury Nikonorov told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“Chuvashia is helping to launch two our plans, the Donetsk and Torez Electrotechnical Plans, ” Nikonorov said. “They now train our people paying in full for their insurance, rent and tuition. Parts will later be supplied to plants to assemble much-needed electrical substations. I believe we need 452 units in 2022 and 2033, it’s a tremendous order.”
Industrialists from Chuvashia’s capital Cheboksary toured DPR companies, inspected production sites and expressed their readiness to invest. The DPR Industry Development Foundation promised to assist in launching production.
Earlier reports said that Chuvashia would help Donbass to ensure its power security and train personnel. In late June, the DPR and the Russian region signed several cooperation agreements.*jk
