Donetsk People’s Republic residents can now send money orders to all regions of the Russian Federation from any “Donbass Post” office, the press service of the state-owned company told the Donetsk News Agency. The minimum and maximum wire transfer amounts are, respectively, one ruble and 500,000 rubles. The fee for the service starts at 60 rubles depending on the sum of the money order and the type of transfer. The post office will keep the money for one month from the date of receipt. DPR residents have been waiting for this service since “Donbass Post” establishment. The money order system with other Russian regions has been the key issue on company hotline for many years, the press service said. “Donbass Post” was established in October 2014. It handles mail, cargo delivery, including from Russia, payment of pensions and welfare benefits, utility services bills, money transfers etc. Previously, money orders could only be sent to recipients in the DPR or LPR.*jk
