Donetsk, Sep 30 – DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled DPR territory 142 times over 24 hours, DPR Operations Command said.
“The situation in DPR remains tense. Ukraine’s military continuously break obligations to maintain the ceasefire. Over the last 24 hours Ukrainian forces shelled our territory 142 times using tanks, mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and small arms. 67 times weapons prohibited under Minsk agreements were used: tanks and 82mm and 120mm mortars,” according to the Command's statement.
Gorlovka and nearby settlements, Yasinovataya, Sakhanka, Donetsk airport area, Aleksandrovka and Zhabichevo villages were hit.
The ceasefire in Donbass effective since 31 August, 2016 was agreed to at the Contact Group meeting and approved by the “Normandy Four” (Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France) group of guarantors of the Minsk agreements.
