Donetsk, May 17 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have shelled eight Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on the Donetsk and Gorlovka axes over the past 24 hours, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

Fire was delivered at the DPR capital’s Petrovsky, Leninsky, Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts, Yelenovka, Yasinovataya and Mineranoye on the Donetsk axis, and at Shakhta Gagarina, Panteleimonovka, Novoselovka and Vasilyevka on the Gorlovka axis.

The enemy used 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, recoilless guns and anti-tank grenade launchers expending 194 rounds of ammunition overall.

Over the past 24 hours, three civilian casualties have been reported within the DPR borders before the beginning of the liberation operation: two women and a man were wounded in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district and Novoselovka.

On top of that, 13 houses and civil infrastructure facilities were damaged in the DPR capital and Yelenovka.

The JCCC daily morning report does not include the information on strikes or  damage to civil infrastructure in liberated areas or areas where fighting against Ukrainian armed formations is ongoing.

In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian armed formations fired 200 rounds of ammunition at the Republic.*jk
