Donetsk, Oct 20 – DAN. Ukrainian forces have shelled the frontline area of the Donetsk People’s Republic 481 times in the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy chief Eduard Basurin said at a news briefing at the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The situation in the republic remains tense. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 481 times," he said.
According to the Command, Ukrainian forces targeted Zaitsevo in Gorlovka outskirts, Aleksandrovka, Trudovskiye and Staromikhailovka villages west of Donetsk, Signalnoye village in the vicinity of Dokuchaevsk, Spartak village north of Donetsk, Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Oktyabr in DPR south.
Kiev forces launched 40 artillery rounds, 405 82mm and 120mm mortar rounds, and fired with tank cannon 5 times, small arms were also used.
