Donetsk, Nov 24 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic 38 times from 6:00, November 23 to 6:00, November 24, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
The enemy expended 224 rounds of ammunition using multiple rocket launchers and cannon artillery. Fire was delivered at seven settlements and their suburbs including Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk and Vladimirovka.
On Wednesday evening, Ukrainian gunmen attacked Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky district causing damage to civil infrastructure in Fyodor Zaitsev Street. The area accommodates trade outlets and office buildings including the DPR Employment Center and Migration Service.
A man in the Shakhta Izotova neighborhood in Gorlovka and a woman in the Vladimirovka settlement outside Volnovakha were were wounded in Ukrainian artillery fire. Later on, the Gorlovka resident died of his wounds in hospital.
Artillery strikes damaged 28 homes in Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts, Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district and Makeyevka’s Kirovsky district as well as three civil infrastructure facilities.
In the previous 24-hour period, Ukrainian artillery attacks at the DPR left two civilians wounded and damaged four homes and one infrastructure facility.*jk
