Ukrainian forces fire more than 300 artillery, mortar rounds at DPR over 24 hours

Donetsk, Oct 19 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 311 artillery and mortar rounds at DPR frontline areas over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Barusin said on Thursday.

“On Donetsk axis, the enemy fired 11 152mm artillery rounds, 13 tank gun rounds, 145 120mm mortar rounds and 109 82mm rounds,” Basurin said. “On Mariupol axis, the enemy fired 33 120mm mortar rounds.”

Gorlovka’s northern outskirts came under fire as well. Ukrainian army units used grenade launchers and small arms, he added.

Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 47 times over the past 24 hours.*jk
