Donetsk, Sep 20 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic twice over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Monday.

“Overall, Ukrainian armed formations expended 12 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered the outskirts of the Vesyoloye village north of Donetsk and Leninskoye village in southern DPR. The enemy used RPG and  underbarrel grenade launchers and small arms. No civilian casualties or damage to civil infrastructure were recorded.

The Ukrainian representatives at the JCCC I”gnored the attempts to use the coordination mechanism in order to quickly establish a local ceasefire after each fact of truce violation,” the DPR Office said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire three times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of all weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
