Donetsk, Nov 18 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic three times over the past 24 hours expending 42 rounds of ammunition, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
Strikes were delivered at the Shakhta Trudovskaya settlement in western Donetsk, the Lozovoye village west of the DPR capital and the Verkhnetoretskoye settlement outside Yasinovataya. The enemy employed 120mm mortars and grenade launchers. Two houses in Lozovoye were damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army fired more than 50 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
