Donetsk, Nov 9 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic four times over the past 24 hours expending 25 rounds of ammunition of caliber over 12.7mm, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.

Fire was delivered at the areas of Gorlovka’s Zatsevo (Yuzhnoye) settlement and the villages of Novaya Maryevka, Vedenskoye and Oktyabr in southern DPR. The enemy employed 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire five times.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
