Donetsk, Feb 3 - DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire on the contact line with the Donetsk People’s Republic four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
The Kominternovo and Oktyabr villages in the south of the Republic came under fire. The enemy expended 11 rounds of ammunition including mortar rounds. There have been no reports on casualties or damage, the DPR Office said.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units opened fire in Donbass four times. No ceasefire violations have been recorded on the contact line between Ukraine and the Lugansk People’s Republic in the past few days.
The package of tighter ceasefire control measures has been formally in effect in Donbass since July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of heavy armaments in and around settlements, engineer works at troops’ positions and unmanned aerial vehicle flights.*jk
